I really like how bright they are and am so happy they are put together. Thank you mom for figuring out the block!!!
I decided to keep working on my Wintergraphix quilt I started last weekend. It has a lot of paper piecing and it's taking a while.
Mom and I listened to the Eagles first. I had to pick their first greatest hits CD because mom like the songs she knows and can sing along. Then we listened to James Taylor's greatest hits. When that CD finished it was just in time for Monk to come on. We watched one episode together and then my poor little legs were tired from standing and trimming and pressing, so I stopped to watch more TV, Nikita and Supernatural, and work on a puzzle I started a while back.

Melissa, I just happened onto your blog, but I was so taken by your beautiful BOM blocks and your Wintergraphix quilt pieces that I had to wander a bit. I really enjoyed what I found on your blog and will be back to visit...especially to see how these too projects are coming along. I'm new to paper piecing but as slow as the work is when first learning, the results are to die for. I love what I have done with it so far and these are just practice bits. Thanks so much for sharing your day with your mom...you made me smile with images of her singing along with the music as you worked. Neither of my daughters do crafts (go figure, I grew up doing them, learned to crochet doilies when I was 9 years old)...anyway, thans for the smiles and your description of a wonderful day. Hugs...
Great blocks! Love the wintergraphix quilt idea. Look forward to seeing it progress. :o)
Another successful FNSI! It is amazing how much folks got accomplished - you included! (Wasn't Supernatural good last night?)
Love the blocks! What beautiful fall colors!
Your blocks are awesome! Great job! Can't wait to see more! Thanks for sharing! I'm your newest follower! Have a Great Day! :)
